I have used the lighter green pink tube and it’s amazing…recently I ordered the dark green tube with white cream and it didn’t work at all. I applied it and wrapped it like normal. Half way through an 8×10 upper thigh tattoo I applied my old tube of light green with pink inside and it was on for only 2 minutes and it’s already a huge difference…..idk why this wouldn’t work but it didn’t and now I don’t trust anything except that light green packaging with pink cream inside.

I bought this after reading the reviews it would help for my first Brazilian Waxing. I followed the previous recommendations and applied it 40 minutes prior and reapplied a 2nd coat 15 minutes prior to leaving. I then washed it off and was at the center within 10 minutes. This is my first review with any product. And believe me…I’m an avid shopper. I was recommended a different company’s numbing cream but wasn’t a huge fan of the stars or comments received on it. I took a shower, then dry shaved my arm, put on the TXTX, wrapped then my arm for an hour. Me and my artist talked for about 30 mins then got to work on my arm…A solid 2 hours I couldn’t feel anything (like nothing at all!) On my arm. My artist at one point asked what I was using then referred it to another client at the shop. Thus isn’t my first tattoo but it is with TKTX, I will NEVER get a tattoo again without it! I do recommend testing it out before really committing to covering your body with a tube of it, spot test fordt to make sure you don’t have some weird reaction and die or have your arm melt off. Oh, the cream was pink if anyone cares, would upload pics but the files are too big. I pretty much got a sleeve.

Boy did it!! I got tattooed on the ribs and the upper back of my arm. This product significantly reduced the amount of pain I experienced.
It also lasted for about three hours after application.

I have tried many different creams before tattooing, always hoping to find something cheaper that works as well. Still coming back to the TKTX. Last week was my inner arm & elbow ditch. 4.5 hours and didn’t feel a thing until the last 15 minutes. None of the other products come close in terms of staying power or depth of coverage. My only complaint? Make bigger tubes please.

This is absolutely the best numbering cream around. I was so skeptical at first but let me tell you IT WORKS!! I’m in the tattoo shop at least once a month, sometimes 2 and since finding this brand I won’t use anything else. I’ve tried other brands and nothing compares to TKTX 40%. I just bought this cream on a whim as a different product I ordered wouldn’t get here in time. I had my doubts but I left the cream on for 1.5 hours, and it helped me get through my 3 hour piece! I hardly felt anything at all, but towards the last 30 minutes I’d say it started to wear off, but it achieved my goal of it being pain-free for the duration of my session. I can agree with other reviews it wouldn’t work for 3-4 hour pieces unless you reapplied it, but otherwise I highly recommend.

Ithis numbing cream is a savior to some people. Not everyone can withstand the pain it takes to get the tattoo so I personally offer it at my studio and I¡¯m able to pull off amazing pieces with it. Usually last about 3-4 hours with no problem just make sure to put it on thick and wrap for an hour. Also do not use any alchohol it will take away the numbing faster.

I use TF out of this stuff. Applied to my knee and didn’t feel a 2 hour tattoo. Did the same on my back and didn’t feel anything for 3 hours on the areas that I applied it to. You need to put A LOT if on, make sure it’s super thick, then wrap it tightly. Leave it on for 1-3 hours prior to the tattoo and you won’t feel a thing.

I tried this product and the artist would unwrap each section as he tattooed and the numbness lasted the entire session. One the area is unwrapped you have maybe 1-1.5 hours of numbing before it starts to hurt.
